José Rubio

José Rubio has 20 years experience as Human Resources Manager in renowned Swiss companies. As son of a Spanish emigrant family, he grew up in Switzerland in a multilingual and multicultural environment. 

José studied at a well-known Swiss hotel management school and completed his post-graduate studies in human resources management at the Swiss Institute for Business Studies (SIB). He also completed studies in coaching and human resources management, as well as in organizational and human resources development. 

José started his career as a consultant in the areas of youth promotion, staff recruitment and training. His core activities included the recruitment and placement of professionals from all over Europe as well as advisory services for employers. In 1992, he took on the responsibility as head of human resources at Zurich airport and was put in charge of the areas of production, gastronomy and administration. In 1997, he switched to the consumer goods industry (Lindt & Sprüngli Schweiz AG) where he was a member of the management team with full responsibility for the HR management. Simultaneously, he was president of the human resources committee of CHOCOSUISSE (Association of Swiss Chocolate Manufacturers). In this role, he also negotiated the collective agreement with the social partners. 

José has a profound expertise in recruiting leaders and specialists in the areas of HR management, marketing, sales, produc-tion, research & development, finance and administration. 

José joint Humarca GmbH as a partner on June 1, 2014. Since June 27, 2017, José Rubio is the owner and CEO of the company.
